Dear Colleagues

The Sustainable Built Environment National Research Centre has been awarded the prestigious Ashley Goldsworthy Award for Sustained Collaboration Between Business and Tertiary Education at the 2016 Business/Higher Education Round Table (B/HERT) Awards dinner on 15 November 2016 in Melbourne.

The collaborative research model we have created, refined and nurtured over the past 20 years is globally acknowledged as a highly successful example of a value-adding industry, government and university research partnership.

We are continuing to build our impressive Australian and international innovation network which is at the core of the centre, and we are dedicated to fostering our close relationships to deliver value to industry, and outcomes that translate research into practice.

The B/HERT Awards were established in 1998 to recognise outstanding achievement in collaboration between business and higher education in the fields of research and development and education and training. The objective of the Awards is to highlight at a national level the benefits of such collaboration and enhance links between industry and universities.

My warm congratulations to the SBEnrc team and collaborators!
Best regards

Keith
